Visit Showdowns near Bryce Canyon National Park for home-style and campfire cooking, live music and s'mores!
On our most recent visit to Bryce Canyon National Park, we spent our days working up quite an appetite!
After hiking trails like Mossy Cave and the Queens Garden Navajo Loop, we were more than ready for dinner. Restaurant options were limited in this area, so we were excited to find Showdowns.

First Impressions
Showdowns is a casual restaurant with live music.
Didn't bring anything but hiking clothes? You'll be fine here.
The restaurant is next to a cabin rental and RV parking area owned by Bryce Pioneer Village Properties. It's a very camper-friendly atmosphere. They also have a motel.
Seating at Showdowns
They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
When we visited, the weather was nice, and there was a campfire going and corn hole set up on the lawn.
We opted to sit outside, and enjoyed the complimentary popcorn while we waited on our food.
Ordering Food & Drinks at Showdowns
I sipped on a prickly pear hard cider while we waited on our meal.
It was delightful.
I had the campfire trout (yum).
I'm a huge fan of seafood cooked on a campfire (like this campfire salmon, this campfire shrimp boil and these campfire fish tacos), and it was pretty great having someone else cook for me!
The hubs had a rack of ribs, and said the meat fell right off the bones.
We finished our meal with a peanut butter mug cake. Although I was also tempted by the s'mores dessert package! (Tip: Marshmallows are supplied for free to customers.)
It was the perfect end to a really nice meal!
Showdowns was a really enjoyable spot. It felt like camping food that we didn’t have to cook.
