Mirror Twin Brewing is a local bar with an on-site pizzeria in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It's a great spot for a casual group meal!

Mirror Twin Brewing in downtown Lexington is a brewery with two taprooms and a pizzeria on site.

Sound interesting? We think so! In fact, we've visited multiple times. Here's what to expect if you're thinking of going.

    Finding the Brewery

Mirror Twin is off Winchester Road, just east of Lexington's city center.

The brewery's event space, Mirror Annex, is across the street. (This is next to La Petit Delicat, a wonderful French bakery we recommend for coffee breaks and dessert!)

There's an interesting building setup — two “mirrored” kitchen/bar areas. One side is a traditional taproom, and the other side is more of a lounge, with an emphasis on cocktails and spirits.

Sign directing patrons to order at the bar and clean their own tables.

Off-peak, we've found that only one side will be open, but on a busy night they’re both open.

What's on the Menu at Mirror Twin Brewing?

This is a great spot for beer and pizza.  Plenty of Mirror Twin beers are available to try, with a nice variety of styles and seasonal options.

Rolling Oven is the pizzeria that has set up shop inside the taproom. They also have their own restaurant in Versailles, where they offer Mirror Twin beers.

Besides the usual toppings, they also have some fun options like honey garlic chicken pizza, sweet Thai chili chicken pizza, and loaded baked potato pizza. And for dessert... s'mores pizza!

We like the Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza, which is finished with a little Maker's Mark.

The Chicken and Gouda pizza (with brussels sprouts!) is also a favorite, and it's finished with hot honey.

They have other food available, like sandwiches and salads. You can order online from your table if you prefer that to walking up to the counter.

We’ve been here multiple times and enjoyed it a lot. With its relaxed atmosphere, large parking area and plenty of seating, it's great for groups.

The first time we visited was after running Lexington’s Midsummer Night's Run. It was an ideal way to celebrate finishing the course.

Last time we were there they were having Trivia Night in the other building (I could hear it on the speaker). It's a regular event, and so are Game Day specials and Paint & Sip evenings.

As of time of writing in early 2025, Mirror Twin has announced that they're planning a second Lexington location! They're renovating a building on the other side of Lexington, near Tack House Pub (a cozy breakfast spot).
