    Burnaco’s (Paris, KY)

    Published: Apr 7, 2023 · 2 Comments

Burnaco’s in Paris, Kentucky, is a fun spot for a quick and filling Tex-Mex meal! Plus it’s right next to an ice cream parlor and a brewery taproom.

There’s a corner lot just outside of Paris, Kentucky, that’s turning into quite the fun little spot for casual dining.

It’s home to Burnaco’s, a Tex-Mex restaurant that lets you build your own burritos, nachos, tacos, and more.

    I love places like that!

Here’s what to look for if you go (including how to grab dessert and a craft beer at the same time!).

    The Menu at Burnaco’s

The menu is nice and straightforward. First decide if you want a quesadilla, burrito, nachos, bowl, tacos, salad, or wrap.

Then load up your order with a choice of protein (black beans are an option if you want to go veggie-based).

Pick some toppings, salsas, and/or dressings. Then finish up with a side (chips and your choice of dip, rice, beans, or side salad).

I had the loaded nachos, and the portion size was huge (and delicious).

Burnaco’s also has a kids’ meal that’s a smaller size portion but still lets you customize everything, along with a side and drink.

There’s a nice, big, airy dining room, and there’s outdoor seating also.

Can’t get enough Tex-Mex? In nearby Lexington, we also love The Local Taco, Condado, and Senor Chimi!

    Ice Cream + Brews

You can really layer up all your dining experiences here, because right next to Burnaco’s is Churn and Brews, a cute little ice cream parlor.

There’s an open interior doorway between the two restaurants, meaning that you’ll be very tempted to wander over and have dessert as soon as you’ve polished off your tacos.

Besides ice cream, they also have pastries and coffee. If you’re coming by early, you can get breakfast here too.

You can put in online orders for Burnaco’s and Churn and Brews all in one place.

On the other side of Burnaco’s is a taproom for Maiden City Brewing Company, a relatively new microbrewery based in nearby Cynthiana.

The taproom shares a patio with Burnaco’s, so you can grab some lunch, order a drink next door, and then take it all outside.

On the weekends, you might even get to hear some live music.

Burnaco’s was a great lunch spot, and I’m sure I’ll be going back! On another visit I look forward to finally trying out Maiden City Brewing. I’ve got my eye on their orange cream hard cider. Or their dunkel lager.

Have you visited Burnaco’s, Maiden City, or Churns and Brews? Let us know your favorites on the menu!
