Wolf Food Market is a collection of international restaurants as well as an on-site brewery in the heart of Brussels!

Brussels is famously cosmopolitan, with residents from all over the world now calling it home. So it's a fantastic city in which to find international foods. If you want to do that, I suggest you start with Wolf Food Market.

Currently, Wolf has 17 different restaurants and a microbrewery in the middle of the market. All those options make it a great spot to meet up with friends.

We found it to be a fun alternative to some of the traditional Belgian food options in the city (although we also loved those — particularly the moules et frites at Rotisse!).

    Ordering at Wolf Food Market

You can order your food directly at the counter of the restaurant you want, or scan the QR code on the table to place your order.

The QR code does seem to allow you to see all the options in one spot, but I found walking up to the counter to be a bit faster since there was rarely a line.

Our Favorite Spots at Wolf Food Market

    Fresca

We had delicious pasta at Fresca. It's made fresh every day, and it tasted like it! I loved the pasta norma (pasta with eggplant and tomato sauce.)

    Nami

The salmon bowl at Nami was delicious. A friend of ours had recently been to Hawaii and said it was comparable to what she had there.

    Butcher

We enjoyed Butcher's vol-au-vent, which tasted a lot like chicken pot pie. (This was a very heavy meal, so it’s probably best for cooler days.)

    La Piola Pizza

The pizza at La Piola was fantastic. It was made to order, so took a bit longer than some of the other options but we felt it was worth it.

    Wolf Food Market Beer Options

Local beer is available from the Belgoo microbrewery in the center of the main Wolf dining area.

All the beers we tried here were lighter beers, not the strong Belgian beers that were my preference on this trip. (I loved the traditional lambic at Cantillon Brewery!)

However, these beers were nice for sipping while enjoying a meal with friends, and we tried one on each of our visits.

For an overview of the country's brewing history, visit the Belgian Beer World Experience in the city center.

Wolf is definitely a great spot to meet up and enjoy a beer and meal in the heart of Brussels.
