The Greenery Coffee Shop is a cute and welcoming place to take a break in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Here's why we like it!

The Greenery is a cute coffee shop and "social space" in downtown Lexington, not far from Corto Lima or Dudley's on Short, some of our favorite restaurants in the area.
The shop is part of The Grove, a little business community located in the heart of the city on Main Street. It's also home to a charcuterie and wine place, a couple of bars, and a small event venue.
The coffee shop is very charming inside, with lots of plants, plenty of seating areas, and a great atmosphere for relaxing. (There are also outdoor seating options if you prefer.)

There's an extensive coffee and tea menu here at any time of the year (and other drinks too). They don't make food on site, but they do sell a nice variety of light eats from other local businesses.

What's for Sale at the Greenery Coffee shop
They have a small selection of baked goods from local shops, artisan goods, and bagged coffee for sale.

The food options vary; you can check their website to get an idea of what they stock from different vendors, often including pastries, burritos, empanadas, charcuterie, bagels, and more.

Each time I’ve visited I’ve really enjoyed my unflavored plain hot latte, but they do have specialty coffees as well.

There will definitely be some seasonal drinks whenever you visit, like the blackberry mango tango lemonade in summer or apple chai-der and coffee toffee in the colder months.

Overall, this is a really nice place in the middle of the city to grab a drink, find a spot, and enjoy a leisurely interlude with a friend. If you search around in the back patio area, you'll even find a ping-pong table.
It can also be a place to read, or to get a little work done. It feels very chill, and you won't be rushed. It's a little hidden gem in Lexington!
