2cupsmixed summer fruit, such as berries, amount variableDice or halve fruit as desired (Halve grapes; Dice kiwi; Leave berries whole).
2ouncesbrandyOr substitute a fruity liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
1cupfruit juiceSuch as white grape or pear
750millilitersbottle white wineSuch as pinot grigio
Instructions
These steps can be done at home the day before camping, or at the campground with a cooler and ice available.Divide fruit between the 4 jars.
Add ¼ cup fruit juice and ½ ounce brandy to each jar.
Add approximately 6 ounces of wine to each jar.
If preparing at camp, place the jars in an icy cooler for at least 4 hours. If you prepared ahead of time, store jars in fridge and then move jars to a cooler packed with ice. (Mason jars shouldn’t leak easily if tipped, but try to keep them upright.)Serve one jar of sangria per person.
Notes
You could also use larger jars and pour the sangria into glasses to serve. This recipe is easily halved (for a smaller group) or doubled (for a larger group).
