This easy cranberry baked Brie is made with flaky, golden puff pastry, cranberry sauce, chopped nuts, and a wheel of Brie. Serve it this winter as a cheeseboard centerpiece at your next party!
½cupcranberry saucehomemade or store-bought whole-berry cranberry sauce
¼cupchopped pecans or walnuts (or both)
1egg, beaten
To serve: grapes, apple slices, crackers, sliced baguette
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out puff pastry onto the paper. Cut off about ⅓ of the puff pastry (reserve).Note: This recipe was written for tested with refrigerated puff pastry. If using frozen puff pastry, thaw before using and roll out to ¼" thickness.
Place the wheel of Brie in the middle of the larger piece of puff.
Top the Brie with cranberry sauce.
Add nuts.
Fold the puff around the Brie until it is entirely wrapped, smoothing any seams with your finger.
Brush the puff with the beaten egg.
Optionally, cut use a cookie cutter to cut decorative shapes out of the reserved, unused piece of puff. Add the shapes to top of the wrapped Brie, and brush with more beaten egg.Tip: If you don't have a cookie cutter, you can use the lid from a spice jar to cut circles.
Bake the Brie for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately along with fresh fruit, crackers, or sliced baguette.

Makes 16 small servings or 8 generous servings.Make Ahead: The Brie can be wrapped in puff up to one day ahead, and then wrapped and refrigerated. Add the egg wash and any decorations right before baking.Nutrition information includes ¾ sheet puff pastry and ¼ egg, since part of these ingredients are discarded.
