Chamomile Lavender Sleep Tea

This easy chamomile lavender sleep tea is made with dried herbs, fennel seeds and raw honey for a relaxing homemade herbal tea.

  • If using fennel seeds, crush with a mortar and pestle or with the back of a wooden spoon.
    Bring tea water to a boil.  Pour into a teapot, two mugs or a French Press.
    Crush Fennel Seeds
  • Tea Strainer or Tea Balls: Add any chamomile, lavender and fennel (if using) to a tea ball or tea strainer. Add to the tea pot or mugs.
    French Press: Add herbs and seeds (if using) to the French Press, and plunge the press down into the water after steeping.
    Cover pot, mugs or French Press.  Steep 8-10 minutes.
    Steep Tea 10 Minutes
  • Serve hot, adding honey if desired.
